Such a cliche to say that "Life is Short", but last summer I experienced a heightened sense of this quote when my mother in law suffered severe angina attacks while I stayed with them in a small vacation village, Erdek during my husband's 3 week mandatory army training in Burdur, Turkey. What a fright we had and although her recovery has been swift after an emergency triple by pass surgery, I have a new found appreciation of things and truly believe in "Divine Intervention". During this time, someone was definitely looking down on us. All in all, she is doing fantastic and these images were taken before any knowledge of her health issues and soon after as we all rallied to take care of her and the house duties.
